UX|UI Designer
The Task π
Our team, consisting of five members, including three UX designers, one data scientist, and one software engineer, was tasked by New York's Health Department to develop a digital solution for preventive care.
The Solution π‘
Comfort Care is an application that customizes preventive care according to user needs. The development process started with our UX designers and data scientists conducting research and collecting data. The UX designers then crafted wireframes and passed them to the software engineer for development.
Key Learning
There is a huge opportunity for digital care adoption within Gen Xers.
Adopting a digital care solution will save your customers time and money, and get them the care they need.
Case Study π
The Problem
92% of people in the U.S. donβt practice preventive care.
Lifestyle modifications and early detection can prevent nearly 80% of all cardiac events.
In the United States, 90% of the $4.1 trillion in annual healthcare expenditures are for people with chronic health conditions.
50% of Gen Xrs ( born 1965-1981 ) donβt trust doctors.
Meet Linda
Linda's Journey
Linda Schedules a Physical Therapy Appointment and Feels Let Down by the Program's Limited Support, Lacking Both Exercise and Dietary Guidance.
Soβ¦
While Gen Xers are amongst the most vulnerable populations, they exhibit a lack of trust in traditional healthcare systems and are gravitating toward personalized, digital healthcare options.
Linda's New Journey
Crafted this task flow to illustrate how a personalized knee condition program would significantly enhance Linda's experience, making it much simpler for her.
Wireframes
Transforming the task flow into grayscale initial wireframes.
Interactive Prototype
After gathering UI inspiration, we incorporated colors and built a prototype for Comfort Care.
Comfort Care will save Linda both time and energy, and this efficiency will likely encourage more people to consider preventive care.
